Lamborghini Huracan For Sale

Used Lamborghini Huracan for sale

The Lamborghini Huracan first came into production as Lamborghini’s entry model in 2014, until it went out of production in 2019. Available in two bodystyles- Coupe and Spyder. The Huracan built on the success of its predecessor- the Gallardo.

What the Huracan has to offer

The Huracan is suitably loud, fast and extroverted- everything a modern Lamborghini should be.  Compared to its rivals, the Huracan offers much more exciting looks. It backs up these looks with a lot of performance, so if you want your junior supercar to stop traffic, the Huracan is a one-stop shop. The Huracan’s V10 is savage and has a sense of drama thanks to its output of 593bhp, driving all the wheels unless you go for the RWD-specific model. The transmission is a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox that offers snappy responses. Ferocious is definitely the word to summarize. There are also three limited editions to look out for: the STO, Tecnica and EVO Spyder, all of which are available in two special configurations with unique liveries and new colours.

Interior and tech

The sports seats in the Huracan are low down as you might expect, and the cushioning is firm. Forward visibility is good, but rear visibility is more or less non-existent. A large proportion of the controls live on the steering wheel, whilst there is a 12.3” Virtual Cockpit that the Huracan got before any of its Audi cousins. The screen replaces conventional dials behind the windscreen and can show various pieces of information relating to revs, speed, sat nav and audio. The Huracan also has three driving modes: Strada, Corsa, and Sport. Sport is the most extreme, allowing you to unleash the Huracan’s brutal pace fully.

What are the running costs?

The Lamborghini Huracan claims a fuel economy of 20.6mpg and CO2 emissions of 332g/km. With such high-performance levels under your right foot, you can safely expect less in the real world. The rear wheels drive version gets similar fuel economy, though it emits slightly less CO2 at 330g/km. Unsurprisingly, no matter which version of the Huracan you go for, it cannot escape the clutches of the highest tax bracket and insurance group. It’s a similar story for rivals- fuel efficiency is not a supercar’s strong point. It’s also reasonable to expect high running costs, and upkeep of the car will take considerable commitment.
