Jaguar F-Pace for sale

Used Jaguar F-Pace for sale

The Jaguar F-Pace first came on sale in 2017 at a crucial time for Jaguar Land Rover, quickly boosting sales, rescuing the company from a sales slump, and allowing them to get a share of the ever-so-popular SUV market. The F-Pace provided.

What the Jaguar F-Pace has to offer

At the core of the Jaguar F-Pace’s appeal lies its engaging driving dynamics that Jaguars are known for, and the car is more than practical given it’s a medium-sized SUV. It’s an entirely viable alternative if the usual German suspects seem a bit… predictable. The Jaguar F-Pace shares many of its elements with its Land Rover relatives, though its chassis is based on Jaguar’s rear-wheel drive saloons, which is perhaps at least some of the reason why it is so engaging to drive. The Jaguar looks great and sleek in an era of sharp, angular, aggressively designed cars, which is a welcome breath of fresh air. That’s not to say it doesn’t look purposeful- with the top-of-the-range SVR looking particularly athletic for its size.

Interior and tech

The Jaguar F-Pace’s interior has only improved since its conception. The middle of the dash is dominated by a 11.4” infotainment screen in the latest models, downsizing to 10” for any pre-facelift models. There remains physical dials to turn for climate controls, however, and facelifted models get a different drive selector. The main TFT instrument display behind the steering wheel has many configuration options. Otherwise, both versions of the F-Pace have quality interiors, with features such as active road noise cancellation for long journeys that really boost the car’s usability, allowing you to enjoy those typically great Jaguar driving dynamics.

What are the running costs?

The top-of-the-range F-Ppace SVR claims a combined 23.1mpg and has CO2 emissions of 275g/km, meaning the car, unfortunately, falls into the most expensive tax bracket. The Porsche Macan S achieves marginally improved fuel consumption at 25mpg and massively improved CO2 emissions of 224 g/km. Otherwise, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR is very competitive in its class. However, when it comes to Jaguar Land Rover’s products, it is important to note they aren’t famed for their reliability, so keeping up to date with maintenance will be crucial.
